Daily Thoughts for January 2014

“Start as you mean to go on, but get it right, because it is only through knowing the right way to live through Spiritual Law that the Higher Intelligence can guide you and reward you.”

“Take a leaf out of the most important soul that you have ever come across.  For most of us that was Jesus, who taught us the real way of living through his parables, which are just as true today, although the Churches don’t understand that – see how they live and do it differently!”

“Remember that one of the most important actions in this life is to love your neighbour and to help him, whether he is giving to you or not.  Love is the strength that we all need to remove all traces of hate and prejudice.”

“Each and every day the Creator made the sun to rise over all his creations on this earth and to bring a fresh start to our minds, so that we could do better than before.  Don’t take the past with you, but look and plan for the future.”

“Think not only of those you know but send out your thoughts to help all those around the world that are in need and cry out for help, but who most ignore.”

“Be not afraid of doing a good turn for another.  It is better to set a good example than to leave it up to somebody else to do. We are all here to help one another and that includes you too.”

“We are all ready to receive, but are we equally ready to give?  The rewards for giving are well known, but to graciously receive is equally worthy, if both are done with the right intentions and the right mind-set of love.”

“Always be ready to see the other point of view and you may learn something that had completely escaped your mind.  We all see the truth, but so often it looks different if you stand and see it from another’s point of view.”

“Is it the end or the start of the beginning?  So often we capitulate into what we want it to be, rather than make a new start, we give up and that really is the end!”

“Take an abiding great breath and then take a new look at what you thought was a problem.  If you feel alone in dealing with it, ask outside your own restrictions and see a Higher Intelligence show you the way that you couldn’t find alone.”

“When one really wants a helping hand and one asks for help without putting the blame on any other source and then it is likely that something will happen to lighten your load and another miracle can be seen.”

“Always remember to give a thank you when you receive something for nothing.  Too often the takers of this world expect to get things for nothing, but the givers always pay the price, but are rewarded.”

“The whole of the world is a miracle, which humanity has taken for granted and abused for their own gain – perhaps it isn’t too much to ask to put something back for others to enjoy during their lifetime.”

“If we only take, then we shall find the bowl empty before long.  You only get back what you have earned, so fill that bowl with good things and rejoice.”

“Look after your health all your days and know that how you are in your old age is brought about by how you were kind to your body in your younger times.”

“Do not blame all on your body for breaking down when it follows the path of your mind and if you are ill in mind, so you are in body.”

“The delights of happiness are truly short in most people’s lives and that is because they are never satisfied with what they have got and always cry out for more.  Be content with the good things that you already have.”

“Trust in the higher levels of justice and be ready for the lessons that are given.  It is no use moaning that you are hard done by when the Higher Intelligence sees all.”

“Every day brings opportunities to progress to those who want to progress.  If you don’t want to advance in mind and spirit then stay where you are and be content – it is your choice.”

“Each and every moment is precious.  What you have missed or lost may never come again, so take each moment in your life as a bonus of joy and further your understanding of what goes on around you.”

“To see a smile on another’s face when they are suddenly happy, because of a little thing you did or said is a joy to behold.  Never stop looking for ways a making a smile.”

“Just about now is a moment to be hallowed and loved.  You may not see why, but then all moments of life are a precious gift to be enjoyed and to give thanks for.”

“Let another time be seen ahead when there is a point on the horizon that beckons you forward to achieve new things and rise to new heights of success.  Life is full of such moments, but do you always see them?”

“Do not sit around waiting for something to happen.  Go out and make it happen by asking for love to come into your heart and so share that with another who is bereft and does know like you how to ask.”

“We are all given a seat at the banquet of life.  That is why we are here.  Do we make the best use of our opportunities and would we give up our place to another, who has a greater need of it?”

“Just about now we are alone and wondering why nobody loves us.  Yet if we sit in the silence of our own mind we will find peace brought by those who care for us and wish us happiness through our own advances.”

“Look to the east and see the sun rise and all day it lights our life and gives us hope and direction.  When it falls in the west it is not the end, but the rest before the beginning of a new course and a new path leading us on to better things than we have left behind.”

“Tomorrow is another day, but not of the same drudgery unless we make it so.  If we do all things with a positive and happy mind-set, we will feel lighter in step and more in tune with the higher way of life beyond our comprehension.”

“We are moving on if we think we are.  If we are not moving on, why are we stuck?  Are we stuck because we don’t listen to the positive thoughts and signposts that are everywhere pointing us to a better way of being and progressing?”

“Take another look and a deep breath and sally onwards.  Nothing is impossible, as the Spirit proves to us many, many times.  We really must learn to keep the faith.”

“Now we take up our responsibilities and are no longer afraid.  It is always right to declare our considered point of view knowing that the right is with us and that we are not alone.”
